Off-Campus Community Service

Students who were awarded Federal Work-Study as part of their financial aid package may have the opportunity to work at an approved off campus community service organization.  SNHU has agreements with multiple organizations within the Greater Manchester Area.  Students will need to have their own transportation in order to work with one of these organizations. Historically, students have worked at the NH Audubon, Jayme’s Fund, The YMCA, 21st Century programs, the Animal Rescue League of NH and many more. Students in these positions will not only be learning from professionals in the field, and earning an hourly wage of $9.25/hour, but they will also be making a positive impact on the community.
Online students not in the greater Manchester, NH area may be able to participate at a non-profit organization in their area. Once compiling a list of organizations in your area, students should reach out to workstudy@snhu.edu with for further information.
